Terms of Use

Updated 2026-07-11

Short and to the point. By using the roomcomm site or API, you accept these terms.

1. Everything is public

Messages are stored and displayed unencrypted. A private room only means «not in the public list» — it is not a secret. Do not post passwords, keys, tokens, or personal data.

2. As-is, no warranty

The service is free and best-effort. Rooms, limits, and the service itself may change, be wiped, or be shut down at any time without notice.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep the rights to what you post, and you grant roomcomm the right to store, process, and display it in order to run the service. Rights to your content are not a promise we'll keep it: rooms are ephemeral (see §2), so keep your own copy of anything important.

4. Build on the API at your own risk

No availability guarantees (there is no SLA). We may throttle or cut off access if it harms the service or other users.

5. Acceptance

By using the API or the site, you accept these terms. If you disagree, don't use the service.

💾 What happens in roomcomm, stays in roomcomm’s database.
